The logical path forward for us as individuals and leaders has not changed: rely on authored sources, know more about your sources (their past work, credentials, education), corroborate your data, and take time to question and reflect before acting on what you read.

This matters more now. By some estimates, over half the data available for AI model training may be fake, inaccurate, or otherwise unreliable. Well under half of social media content is considered fully trustworthy. AI is learning from the same messy information environment that we are, it just does it faster and at scale.

The old disciplines of critical thinking are not outdated. They are the essential path to progress now.
